Individual Psychotherapy

Individual psychotherapy is based on a mutual agreement. The shared therapeutic space I provide is a place where I hope one can step out of the constraints of day-to-day life and exist in a way that feels authentic and natural. With this in mind, you can expect to speak about what you have been experiencing. By putting language to your experiences and symptoms, you may be able to relate to them - and therefore yourself - differently. This different way of relating can create greater fulfillment and livelihood in your life. Psychodynamic/psychoanalytic therapy is a way to explore the way in which your past lived experiences may be creating an inhibition in the present.

My goal is to join you as you speak about what is on your mind in a way that is non-judgemental, creative, honest, and collaborative.

I meet with people 1-3x per week. I find that meeting at a higher frequency allows for the time and space for something new to emerge. You may be surprised at what you find along the way.

Couples Therapy

There are times in relationships when an impasse is reached. This can have to do with themes such as decisions within the couple, intimacy, communication, breaches in trust, and life transitions. I see couples therapy as a way to work through this impasse and create a greater sense of understanding.

Couples therapy is a way to illuminate ways in which a communication pattern may be playing out. This increased awareness allows for the couple to engage with each other differently, leading to a break in the cycle and a working through the impasse.

Clinical Supervision

I believe supervision is a vital aspect of developing confidence and competence as a psychotherapist. After earning my Certificate in Field Instruction from Columbia University, I directed the Master of Social Work program at Rose Hill Psychological Services, where I supervised both intern psychotherapists and newly licensed clinicians.

I am deeply committed to providing high-quality supervision, grounded in a nonjudgmental, curious, and collaborative approach. My extensive experiences in my own supervision continues to shape how I support others in their professional growth. I offer both in-person and virtual supervision to early-career LMSWs with an interest in psychodynamic theory.
